Synopsis:
Based on a true story, the film follows comedian Kumail as he navigates a cross-cultural relationship with Emily. When Emily suddenly falls seriously ill and is placed in a medically induced coma, Kumail forms an unexpected bond with her parents while confronting his own family’s expectations and his feelings about love and identity.
